Annual General Meeting

The PCC Annual General Meeting took place in the Church Hall on Sunday 10th April and was attended by 35 people. It was a pleasant meeting made livelier by resident comedian Peter Chapman

More good news!

I am delighted to report to you that English Heritage have approved our grant applictaion to help fund Stage 2 of the major repairs to our Church identified previously and confirmed in the Quinquennial report: that is repairs to the North and South roof slopes and the south porch. It is not so easy for us to see the condition of the roof but next time you are approaching the Church entrance take a few minutes to examine the porch masonry. You will see how the soft sandstone is being eroded and damaged and how urgent the repairs are.
